Privacy Policy for DayGram

Branches ("we", "our", or "us") built DayGram as a personal diary app. This Privacy Policy explains how the Android version of DayGram handles information when you use the app.

1. Overview

DayGram is designed primarily as a local-first diary app. Your diary entries, attached photos, settings, and most app data are stored on your device unless you choose to export, back up, restore, share, or transfer them yourself.

We do not operate our own cloud account system for DayGram Android, and we do not require you to create a DayGram account.

1. Information stored by the app

The app may store the following information locally on your device:

• Diary entries and text you write
• Attached photos and related crop/scale metadata
• Favorites and other diary metadata
• App settings, preferences, themes, fonts, and reminders
• Local backup files created by you
• Device transfer files created or imported by you

This information is generally kept on your device and is not uploaded to our own servers by the app.

1. Permissions

DayGram Android may request the following permissions, only when needed for app features:

• Photos / media access: to select images for diary entries
• Camera: to capture photos for diary entries
• Microphone / audio: to use voice input
